Random Tips
- Listen carefully to your teacher during lectures. Often times your teacher will hint as to what will be on your test, or flat out tell you. Jot these things down as soon as you hear them.
- If your teacher is a personable type of person talk to them after class. Most teachers love students who show interest in their material outside of class. Offer to take them out to lunch or get some coffee. Talk about the material scheduled to be on the test.
- Make sure you carefully estimate the amount of time needed to study. Students who lack time organizational skills are often caught cramming for tests hours before the test. Some students even claim to thrive on this style of studying, but with lackluster test results. Remember, the best way to study is over a period of time, giving the brain an opportunity soak up and comprehend the material on a level you can't get to within hours of a test. Create study shchedule outlining a few hours a day dedicated to studying.
