This program is for students who already have an associate's degree and wish to pursue or advance a career in accounting, finance, or systems management, the 2+2 Option for Bachelor of Science in Business will help you reach your career goals. By completing your bachelor's degree with this program, you can increase earnings over the course of your lifetime according to the Digest of Education and open yourself to new job opportunities.
Our curriculum will help you master the specialized knowledge necessary for a rewarding career by allowing you to focus your course of study in one of three emphasis areas: Accounting, Finance, Management of Information Systems.
Who Should Take This Program?
This degree is for students who have already earned an A.A.S., A.S., or A.A. degree from a regionally or nationally accredited college and want to earn a four-year degree in order to advance a career in accounting, finance, or an information technology/systems field.

Students can choose to focus on an area of study that best fits their career and educational goals:
Accounting: Prepares students for entry-level positions in the accounting industry, including tax preparation firms and payroll departments. Courses cover all aspects of accounting principles including new tax laws, financial statements, balance sheets, asset management, inventory analysis, accounting software, and cost-volume-profit analysis.
Finance: Prepares students with a knowledge and understanding of financial operations, services, and techniques. Topics covered will include capital budgeting, asset valuation, forecasting, and securities analysis, as well as the role of financial markets in the investment strategy process. Graduates with this course of study can pursuer career opportunities in business banking, retail, and financial services firms.
Management of Information Systems: Immerses students in the factors and skills necessary to successfully manage system development on a macro- and micro-project scale. The focus is on controlling the life expectancy of systems and managing stakeholder expectations within organizations. Students learn the technical aspects of information systems development and gain an understanding how software and hardware fit user needs and desires. Graduates may explore employment in the IT departments of major companies and government agencies.
